Whenever it comes to best entertainment than no one could escape the name of Netflix series. Their would be hardly any person who never saw or loved Netflix shows.At least any one show! But we fans love to watch almost all of our favorite shows and are super excited for the shows coming next year. To enhance this excitement we present you the top 10 Netflix shows coming in 2017!
1: 13 Reasons Why
Another on of the exciting shows by Netflix we have “13 Reasons Why”. It is actually based on the 2007 novel of the same name from author Jay Asher, 13 Reasons Why it will tell the story of the late Hannah Baker, a high school student who committed suicide. The Netflix drama stars Dylan Minnette as a boy named Clay who receives a shoebox of cassette tapes from his classmate and crush Hannah, after her recent death. On the tapes, Hannah explains to 12 peers how they each played a role in her death and gives 13 reasons why she took her life.
In this amazing series we will see Selena Gomez as producer. As Selena Gomez will produce the series alongside Spotlight director Tom McCarthy, the latter of whom is also set to helm the show’s first two episodes.
2: Santa Clarita Diet
This upcoming Netflix comedy will be a best thing to fill the joy and enjoyment in the life of its fans. As it stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant as a married couple, who work as real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. The couple’s lives take a dark turn after Sheila (Barrymore) goes through a dramatic change. Ricardo Chavira, Skyler Gisondo, and Liv Hewson will co-star in the 13-episode freshman season, which is expected to hit the streaming service in the year 2017. Wow it is really something we should enjoy!
This is Netflix’s fourth Marvel series.It will star Finn Jones in the lead role of Daniel Rand (Iron Fist). This is a superhero series. In this series the hero fights against the criminal elements corrupting New York City with his master kung-fu skills and ability to summon the power of the fiery Iron Fist, which strikes opponents with superhuman impact. The show will reportedly pick up just as Rand returns to the Big Apple, after having gone missing from the city for several years. I wouldn’t be wrong if I say that “WE NEED SOMEONE LIKE THIS IN REALITY TOO!”
Jessica Henwick and David Wenham will co-star in the series as Iron Fist’s samurai ally, Colleen Wing and the ruthless corporate leader Harold Meachum, respectively. As confirmed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the freshman season is set to kick off in early 2017, although an exact premiere date has not yet been announced. So fan please wait for its premiere.
Here is another super exiting series coming soon by Netflix which is “Ozark”. Jason Bateman will take a dramatic turn in this upcoming Netflix series, created by rising feature writer Bill Dubuque (The Judge). The show will take place in the dark and dangerous world of drug-money laundering, my crimes which makes it a action and drama series. If we see how the name of this series originated than we found that it is named after the location where it is set, the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Ozarks will follow a man who moves from the city to the Ozarks and must pay off a debt to a dangerous drug lord. In addition to starring in the show, Bateman will also executive produce and direct the series. Ozark is expected to debut in the latter half of 2017.
Netfix drams have always been love of drama lovers. Here in next year we have an amazing drama Mindhunter. This Netflix drama, set in 1979 and based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, will star Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany as two FBI agents, who interview imprisoned serial killers to try to solve ongoing cases. Anna Torv and Cotter Smith will co-star in the series, which will be executive produced by Charlize Theron and Gone Girl director David Fincher. The drama will be seen in 2017.
6. El Chapo
Now here is another exciting story by Netflix which is all about a the life of a person. Netflix is partnering with Univision on the upcoming new drama series, El Chapo. As the title suggests, the show will be based on the life story of the notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán. The series will be available to Netflix subscribers in the U.S. after its first airing on UniMas in 2017.
7. Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later
Without something about fun and friends in the Netflix our 2017 will be incomplete. But we don’t have to worry about this as Netflix is reuniting the Camp Firewood gang once again, this time for a Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, sequel series that will debut next year. As the name suggests, the eight episode show will take place a decade after the original movie, piggybacking off the scene in which Bradley Cooper’s character Ben proposes that all the campers return in 10 years to see how they’ve turned out.
David Wain and Michael Showalter, who wrote the movie and Netflix’s 2015 limited prequel series First Day of Camp, will return to pen Ten Years Later. Wain, who also directed the 2001 film will also be directing the sequel. There is no casting information on the new installment yet, but like First Day Of Camp the upcoming series will likely bring back much of the original cast.
8. Dear White People
Comedy series are always heart winning. Our dull and boring routines always need some comedy series. This upcoming comedy, which is based on the highly praised 2014 indie film of the same name, hails from original screenwriter and director Justin Simien. The 10 episode, 30-minute project hails from Lionsgate Television. Like the film, the show will follow a diverse group of students of color as they attempt to navigate life at a predominantly white Ivy League college that often overlooks racial tensions.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Logan Browning will replace star Tessa Thompson in the leading role, while Brandon P. Bell is set to reprise his role from the movie. Meanwhile, Simien will write the series and direct.

9: Star Trek
New Star Trek TV series coming to Netflix in 2017.Star Trek is one of the most iconic shows in television history and we’re thrilled to watch this series in coming year.The newest chapter of the story promises to continue the rich tradition of adventure and is sure to excite fans. This is to arrive on Netflix in January 2017, with each episode becoming available worldwide within 24 hours of its US premiere on CBS.
10. The Defenders
This is something that all fans have wished to see. In “The Defenders” four of Netflix’s street-level Marvel heroes — Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) — will join forces in this team-up series, also set to debut in 2017. Though specific details of the show haven’t been revealed, the miniseries event will follow the group of heroes as they are brought together to face their biggest threat yet.
Daredevil showrunners Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez are expected to oversee the show. While an exact release date has not yet been confirmed, Netflix’s previous schedule of Marvel series premieres indicates that The Defenders will likely kick off sometime in the latter half of the year, probably next fall.
